Meet Sean Conroy: A Neighbour Working for Practical Change

Sean Conroy isn’t a career politician. He is a father of three, a long-time York—Simcoe resident, and a professional who understands what it takes to manage real budgets and deliver results under pressure.

Growing up in the community since the mid 80's, Sean’s commitment to service started early. Between 1992 and 1999, he served in the Royal Canadian Army Cadets, eventually retiring as Cadet Commanding Officer and working alongside the Royal Canadian Legion and local veterans groups.

Professionally, Sean built his career from the ground up, advancing to Staging Division Manager for a major live event production company. He manages complex logistics, leads diverse teams, and ensures projects deliver on time and on budget - skills sorely missing from Queen’s Park today.

A Common-Sense Alternative to Partisan Politics

Like many across Ontario, Sean grew frustrated with the status quo - entrenched parties delivering empty promises, rising debt, and zero accountability. While seeking a principled path forward, he rejected extreme right-wing rhetoric, recognizing that real representation requires balance, integrity, and respect for all citizens.

Sean believes that government should operate within its means, protect personal privacy, and respect your right to make your own life decisions. As Leader of the Ontario Libertarian Party and Candidate for York—Simcoe, he brings a pragmatic, solutions oriented approach to provincial politics:

Respect for Taxpayers:  Treat public money with the same care you treat your household budget.

Individual Agency:  Trust adults and families to make their own choices without moral policing.

Local Priorities:  Champion York—Simcoe’s farmers, trades, commuters, and small business owners over party whips.
