Political contributions in Ontario are strictly regulated by Elections Ontario to ensure complete transparency. Please review the following guidelines before making a contribution:

 * Eligibility: Only individuals who reside in Ontario may donate using their own personal funds. Contributions from corporations, trade unions, or businesses are prohibited.

 * Payment Method: Donations must be made via electronic transfers.

 * Transparency: Donations totaling more than $200 in a calendar year require the donor name and municipality to be reported to Elections Ontario as part of public disclosures.

 * Tax Credits: Eligible monetary contributions qualify for the Ontario Political Contribution Tax Credit, which can significantly reduce your tax payable at tax time.
